Cloud Softphone Windows Desktop App System Requirements

Our software supports a wide range of processors, including post-Pentium, post-Epyc CPUs, AMD Ryzen CPUs and newer, and Intel Core processors 6th generation (Skylake) and newer. These processors offer features required for optimal performance.

Tips

For more information on the system requirements for the Windows desktop app, refer to Acrobits documentation at doc.acrobits.net/troubleshooting/windows-computers-troubleshoot.html#minimum-system-requirements.

Why don't you support pre-Pentium and pre-Ryzen CPUs ( pre-2017)?

We do not support pre-Pentium and pre-Ryzen CPUs because these processors are not optimized for running modern software applications. Older processors may not have the processing power, memory, or advanced features that are required for our software to run properly. In addition, older processors may not be compatible with the latest operating systems, security features, and other technologies that our software relies on.

Why don't you support pre-Epyc CPUs?

While pre-Epyc CPUs are powerful processors, they are not optimized for running the type of software that our product provides. Epyc CPUs offer advanced threading technology and processing power that are required for running complex software applications, making them ideal for our software. Therefore, we only support Epyc CPUs and newer ones for server environments.

What are the minimum system requirements for running your software?

The minimum system requirements for running our software can vary depending on the specific version you are running, but we recommend at least an AMD Ryzen CPU with at least 4 cores and a clock speed of at least 2.4 GHz, an Intel Core processor from the 6th generation (Skylake) or newer, 8 GB of RAM. We also recommend using a solid-state drive (SSD) for faster load times and improved performance.

Is it possible to run your software on a lower-end processor?

While it may be possible to run our software on a lower-end processor, we do not recommend it. Running our software on a lower-end processor may result in reduced performance, longer load times, and potential stability issues. We recommend using a processor that meets or exceeds our minimum system requirements for the best experience.
