Web Access on iOS Devices

The Web Access feature on Acrobits Softphone or Groundwire enables you to access your call history and download recorded calls from a web browser on the host computer. Enable this feature in the app, and then view these records on the computer.

You must enable the Web Access feature before viewing your call history and downloading recorded calls from the web browser.

Enabling Web Access

  1. Open the Keypad tab, select iOS Setting icon > Preferences > Web Access.
  2. Toggle the Enabled switch to ON.
    Note: The URL listed here is required for non-Safari browsers. See the Using Web Access on Other Browsers section for the instructions.
  3. (Optional) Change the password. The default is 1234.
  4. Restart the app after making changes.
  5. Select Done.

Using Web Access on Safari

Important

  • When using Web Access, keep Acrobits Softphone and Groundwire open on your device.
  • Keep your iOS device awake. To do so, open the device settings, and select Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock. Set Auto-Lock to Never.
  • Ensure your computer and iOS device such as iPhone, iPad, or iPod, are on the same Wi-Fi network.

After enabling Web Access on your application, use the following instructions on your computer.

  1. Open the Safari browser.
  2. Select Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks.
  3. On the left of the Bookmarks window, select Bonjour.
  4. Double-click Softphone or Groundwire.
  5. Enter the username and password.
    The username is admin, and the password is 1234 (default), or the one set in step 3 in the Enabling Web Access section.
  6. Select Login.
    The History section displays.
  7. Select the Do not embed Quicktime box.
    • Review your call history here.
    • To download your call recordings, right-click the entry with recording and then select Download

Using Web Access on Other Browsers

Important

  • When using Web Access, keep Acrobits Softphone and Groundwire open on your device.
  • Keep your iOS device awake. To do so, open the device settings, and select Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock. Set Auto-Lock to Never.
  • Ensure your computer and iOS device such as iPhone, iPad, or iPod, are on the same Wi-Fi network.

After enabling Web Access on your application, use the following instructions on your computer.

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. In the address bar, enter the URL provided in the Web Access screen of your application.
    Note: See step 3 in the Enabling Web Access section.
  3. Enter the username and password.
    The username is admin, and the password is 1234 (default), or the one set in step 3 in the Enabling Web Access section
  4. Select Login.
    The History section displays.
    • Review your call history here.
    • To download your call recordings, right-click the entry with recording and then select Download.

The fastest way to transfer multiple recorded calls is using iTunes file sharing.
