How to enable messaging in Acrobits Softphone and Groundwire?

If your SIP provider supports SIP SIMPLE, you can send and receive messages with these apps. Select Settings > Accounts > a desired account > Advanced Settings, then enable the SIMPLE option.

  1. On the Main screen:

    • Android devices - Select Android Settings icon > Settings > Accounts.

    • iOS devices - Select iOS Setting icon > SIP Accounts or Accounts.

  2. On the Accounts screen, select the desired SIP account.

  3. Select Advanced settings.

  4. Enable SIMPLE under the Messaging section.

  5. Select a check icon or Done.
