Delete or Disable Your SIP Account in the App

Go to the Account screen in Settings to manage your SIP accounts. Delete an account when you are ready to stop using the service. Temporarily disable an account if you plan to use it later.

Acrobits Softphone and Groundwire support multiple SIP accounts with simultaneous registrations.

Managing SIP Accounts on Android

  1. On the Main screen, select Android Settings icon > Settings > Accounts.
  2. In the Accounts screen:
    • To delete an account:
      • Swipe the account all the way left to delete. Or,
      • Touch and hold it, and then select Delete account
    • To disable an account: 
      • Touch and hold the Android hamburger icon icon next to the account to move it to the Disable account section. O,
      • Touch and hold it, and then select Disable account.

 

Managing SIP Accounts on iOS
  1. Open the Keypad tab, select iOS Setting icon > Account or SIP Accounts.
  2. In the Accounts screen:
    • To delete an account:
      • Swipe the account all the way left to delete. Or,
      • Touch and hold the iOS hamburger icon button, select iOS  delete an entry icon, and then select Delete.
    • To disable an account: 
      • Touch and hold it, and then select Disable account.
      • Touch and hold the iOS hamburger icon button, touch and hold iOS hamburger icon icon next to the account to move the account to the DISABLED ACCOUNTS section.
  3. Select Done.
